We’re thrilled to announce a great new show taking place at a beautiful intimate venue: The Annex Live. Formerly the Poor Alex Theatre, it’s extremely easy to get to being a few blocks’ walk from Bloor & Spadina subway station (or with some free street parking if you prefer).

Our performers are:

James Alan – Magician, and generally curious character

Baldini – the resident magician at the Ontario Science Centre

Bobby Motta – star of the one mans shows Non Fiction and Headgames

and

James Harrison – Ontario’s foremost theatrical pickpocket.

It will be a wonderful evening with some great food and wonderful magic, mind reading and mystery. Arrive early for dinner or order during the show.

Hosted at The Charlotte Room with James Alan, James Biss, Robert Testa & Baldini an elegant cocktail & cabaret setting. Proceeds from the evening were be directed to an amazing Youth programme in Port Au Prince, Haiti in partnership with War Child Canada.

The festival was a tribute to what was humanly possible and featured a mix of side-show, Vaudeville and paranormal performers.

The magic portion was specifically created to fit the period of the festival. It included several classic pieces and one trick which had not been performed live since its originator passed away in 1939.
